It is Abba’s timing for me to podcast on these chapters of Hebrews – for they align to our week of the first three festivals of Leviticus 23, picturing Messiah’s death, burial, and resurrection. The barley is in abundance now for the wave sheaf offering for First Fruits, and the new moon was sighted the 30th day of the month from Jerusalem, March 15th – making March 16th Aviv 1. Counting forward 14 days, we come to tonight, March 29, 2021.
I just made two big bowls of Choroset for our Passover Seder to night with our fellowship. This year we’re having quite a number of people attending. We unite around the blood of the Lamb of Yahuwah and rejoice in our coming out of darkness, symbolized by the Red Sea Crossing and the drowning of Pharaoh, and are on our journey to the Promised Land together, led by the Spirit of Yahuwah.
This is so special to me because of the years of not having anyone to celebrate the festivals with. I am with family, spiritual and natural.
By celebrating in some way, you show that you are part of Yahuwah’s family, by the blood of the Lamb – His Son. You celebrate this week, as per Leviticus 23, and understand His having to go into the heart of the earth, in order to rise again on the Festival of First Fruits (always on a Sunday). From that Sunday we begin to “count the Omer,” until we arrive at the 50th from First Fruits – Shavu’ot/Pentecost – and celebrate the giving of the Spirit to us by Messiah after His ascension. Read the book of Acts this set-apart week, and let the Spirit anoint you for your service to Him.
