Chag Sameach! Happy New Year!
Before I talk about the Transcript of Podcast CCLXXI The Book of Hebrews Chapter 7, here are the Aviv 1, Passover week, and projected festival dates for 2021 by Brian at avivofgod.com
NEW MOON UPDATE: the crescent was not seen anywhere near Jerusalem this evening and may not have been in the country. Brethren in Jerusalem told us it was completely clouded in as we saw for ourselves on the live webcams located there and elsewhere.
We have advanced the dates for Passover and UB one day forward.
New Year: Tuesday, March 16th
Passover: Monday, March 29th
Unleavened Bread: Tuesday, March 30th through Monday, April 5th
Wavesheaf: Sunday, April 4th
Please read my letter from yesterday and the 2-page Festival article under “Recent Articles” or “Israel, Our Eternal Inheritance.”
The Transcript of Podcast CCLXXI: The Book of Hebrews Chapter 7 is posted under Israel, Our Eternal Inheritance #89.0 The Podcast is ready for listening to under “Audio Messages” on the main page of comeenterthemikvah.com.
To me, Chapter 7 is one of the most difficult to teach. The author, does, yet doesn’t exactly pinpoint the person of Melchizedek in Genesis 14 as being a pre-incarnate appearance of Yahushua. Because the Melchizedek of Genesis 14 is the King and High Priest of the settlement of Salem, later to become Jerusalem, it is possible that he was a human king and priest, from whom the author of Hebrews drew parallels with Messiah. Yet, the king of Salem also was a mediator between man and “the Most High El.” So, we read, learn, do our research, and listen for the confirmation of the Spirit within our spirit. It’s always a joy to study the Word for answers! In the meantime, there are things that appear simple to understand yet have profound meanings. Always read the Word slowly so that your spirit can pick up on what He is saying to you personally!
Shalom, Yedidah
