CHAG SAMEACH! HAPPY TISHRE 1! HAPPY YOM TERUAH – FEAST OF TRUMPETS and SHOUTING!
The new moon was sighted by 2, and more, witnesses from Jerusalem this evening, September 8, 2021. SO … at sunset, wherever you are on earth, we begin Yom Teruah, Feast of Trumpets – the beginning of the Ten Days of Awe! We begin, on the Creator’s Calendar, a new year by the revolving of our planet and its seasonal cycles. Genesis 1:3 began on what would become a Yom Teruah!
This is the 7th month of the Festival Calendar, (Exodus 12:2) which begins on Aviv 1 in the Spring, marking the Spring Feasts/Festivals of Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits. Six weeks later we celebrate Shavu’ot – the giving of the Torah, the giving of the Spirit of Yahuwah to dwell within us as He once dwelt over the Ark in the Most Set-Apart Place in the Temple. The Festival calendar is not for the world but is an exclusive calendar for those who have been born again by Yahuwah’s Passover Lamb, Yahushua ha Machiach!
The three Fall Festivals are: 1) Yom Teruah, 2) 10 days later, Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) and 3) Sukkot – the Feast of Tabernacles (John 1:14).
Blow the shofar at the new moon – Psalm 81:1-4.
Remember that Yom Teruah begins the “Ten Days of Awe” – which are days of repentance, soul-searching, submission to Yahuwah, and instant obedience to His commands. It is also known as “Yom ha Din,” the “day of judgment.” Yom Kippur is also known as “Yom ha Din.” These two festivals mark the future time when the Beast will take his supreme power to destroy mankind and all on earth, just before the return of Yahushua Messiah. (Matthew 24:29-31) Yahushua comes on Yom Kippur, with the wrath of Yahuwah. Isaiah 34, Isaiah 63:1-6, Revelation 6:9-11; 11:15-18; and 14:9-11.
Thus, we see Yahuwah’s message to us right now in Revelation 2:10, the congregation at Smyrna, the assembly representing the martyrs of Revelation 7:9-17; 9:: “DO NOT BE AFRAID OF WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO SUFFER. SEE, THE DEVIL IS ABOUT TO THROW SOME OF YOU INTO PRISON IN ORDER TO TRY YOU AND YOU SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION TEN DAYS. BE TRUSTWORTHY UNTIL DEATH AND I SHALL GIVE YOU A CROWN OF LIFE.”
Revelation 12:11: And they overcame him (Satan) by the Blood of the Lamb, and the Word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives even unto death.”
Pray over that folks – with all your heart. Do not be afraid, we’ve entered the time-tunnel. Don’t let the enemy throw you down and crush you. Be strong in faith, knowing that your faith is not in vain when it is anchored in His throne room!
