Greetings:
I grew up in southern California. I understand the “Santa Ana” wind conditions – very hot, dry winds. About 8:00 last night, when I read about the fire in the Santa Monica Mountains raging towards Malibu, I knew the family and home of L.A. and Peggy Marzulli was in danger. I went to his website and he had posted the prayer request (see below.)
I added my comments to a growing number of those who are praying for them. This morning, the news is that the whole area of Malibu, in what is called “the Woolsey fire” has spread drastically. Some people are dead, tens of thousands have had to evacuate. I just cried. L.A.’s “undisclosed location” is right in the middle of a fire that is still 0% contained as of this morning.
This morning there is no update from L.A., so I assume that he has gone to meet his daughter who had to evacuate last night. His home was his epicenter of his ministry work. Please join me in prayer! Just a few years ago, Tom Horn’s house was burned to the ground – by an arsonist. He and Nita lost everything, yet they continued on. But, oh the heartbreak!
So, on this Shabbat and in ongoing days, let’s stand beside our brother and sister Marzulli in this time of tragedy. Their ministry has been a great blessing to me, and to millions of His people worldwide, for years.

“Prayer needed! Fires Get Close to My Undisclosed Location…
The Fire has now jumped the 101 freeway. Winds are expected to increase. We have moved all our computers, cameras and other valuables into our fire-proof root cellar. Peggy and I are in Dallas at the Operation Classified Conference. Our daughter and our friend Justine are at the house ready to evacuate. Very disconcerting, but God is in control and no matter what happens He will bring good out of it. L.A.”
